BIOGRAPHY

Alex W Evans is an American filmmaker that
 originally hails from the Washington, DC area
and studied filmmaking at George Mason University,
Växjö University in Sweden, and Vancouver Film
School in Canada before beginning his career.  His first independent short film as a writer/director, “Tourtilla” featuring Chris Reed of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” was an official selection of the 2014 Independent Filmmaker’s Showcase.  Evans worked as Associate Producer in the Antarctic for Animal Planet’s Emmy Nominated series  “Whale Wars” documenting the conflict between Environmental Activists and Poachers.  Evans also was a contributing cinematographer for “Live and Let Live” a documentary about human relationships with animals.  When in leadership roles Evans strives to bring sustainable initiatives to productions such as vegan catering.
